2006 Chevy monte carlo

2006 Chevy Monte Carlo 3.9 v6 engine. Was my daily driver until it quit. Went to start one day and lights came on but that was it. Starter was good and the engine showed no signs of being locked up. Called a dealership and they said it was the neutral safety switch in transmission. Just don’t have time to mess with it. Not sure exact mileage due to it sitting a while but I believe was less than 150000.
